PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT METHODOLOGY

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT / RESEARCH PHASE

The trend research process combines forecast data with runway analysis and contemporary market observation to build a structured product direction. Seasonal insights from WGSN provide a macro framework, which is then examined alongside luxury collections to evaluate silhouette evolution, fabric application, and proportion shifts. These references are translated into commercially viable interpretations suited to contemporary ready-to-wear, ensuring that design decisions remain aligned with both creative vision and manufacturing capability

.

Technical sketches are developed based on forecasted trends and translated into production-ready designs aligned with factory requirements and coding systems.
This process directly informs fabric and material research, ensuring that textile selection supports both the design intent and manufacturing feasibility.

Each fabric choice is assessed against supplier capability and manufacturing constraints to ensure a seamless transition from concept to production.

SAMPLING AND PRODUCTION

Upon final approval of sampling and fit, construction details were locked and production coordination was initiated with suppliers and manufacturing partners, ensuring alignment between design intent, material availability, and manufacturing capability.

With experience collaborating with factories in China, Bangladesh, India, Turkmenistan, and Russia, I oversaw technical communication to uphold quality standards and production accuracy. I acted as a key liaison between pattern makers and factory teams, aligning fit corrections, grading specifications, and construction details to ensure seamless execution from sample to bulk production.
